Our very own World Champion - Jack Watson travels to compete in the HPV World Championships in Maasmechelen, Belgium this week for the races over the weekend 21-23 August 2015. The club would like to wish him, Pete and Simon best of luck in all the events that make up the Championships which include a 200m sprint, 1km sprint, 1 hour race and a 100km race.
Before he goes Jack has to first sort his bike out - as a front disk brake has been added to assist performance to the front and the new forks and front wheel don't fit into the fairing properly. Jack is currently in 7th position in the National standings, coming 2nd in three of the races I have been to. Simon is 14th in the part faired category and Pete is 2nd in the Junior British Championships.
