Sunday 2nd March saw Round 4, the final round of the Manchester NCC Winter BMX Series and our young Barnesbarians have done it again, putting in another outstanding performance in the novice classes!
Young Pete Watson finished 4th overall in the 9-11 category, Martyn Ballinger, missing the final round due to holidaying still manged a solid 3rd place overall in the 15+ category and Jack Watson showed amazing consistency throughout, winning all his rounds and finishing 1st place overall in the 15+ category...a fantastic achievement which has prompted him to move up and race in the expert class from now on!!
Simon Watson made his debut at Round 4 with a 4th place in the final of the 15+ category and young Joe Hodgson, also in his debut race, finished 3rd in the final of the 12-14 category!
A massive well done to all the riders who took part in this series and many thanks to the club for all the support given.
