Barnesbury goes C2C!
On Saturday the 7th June 2 intrepid Barnesbury members Geoff Turner and Jason McCourt completed the 140 mile Coast to Coast route, going from Workington to Tynemouth all in aid of charity (Cancer Research UK).
Geoff, Jason and Jonathan (MTS) begun their epic journey at 7am but the event wasn’t without its drama with Jason encountering some rear wheel problems only 10 mile in, then having to walk 3 mile to Cockermouth where he waited for a new wheel so he could continue the rest of the route alone.
All 3 riders came home at around the 10hrs ride time mark and the event in whole raised around £6000 with help from other riders from Sage UK over 2 and 3 day events.

Club 10s have started
